Ensure safe, cost-effective, operable rotating equipment and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current site needs.Provide support on prioritization of machinery related projects.Work in a team environment with other disciplines, operations, mechanical personnelDirect improvements for increasing plant reliability.

Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices.Provide technical training to mechanical and operations personnel.Provide QA/QC on repairs onsite/off-site.

Provide vendor surveillance on major machine repairs.Periodically review rotating equipment performanceProvide assistance during plant startups, shutdowns, and/or upsets.Requirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience with industrial rotating equipment in chemical or refinery industries.

Extensive knowledge of compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps (reciprocating and centrifugal), fans, and blowersKnowledge of Industry Standards (ie API, ASME, PIP, etc.)Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority items.Demonstrated work experience as SME for Rotating Equipment.Type: direct hire.
