This engineer will develop Machine Learning based solutions that aid in the curation and augmentation of one of the largest international entertainment data sets in the world. What We're Looking ForProven track record of building modern Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing based solutionsProficiency with at least one common Deep Learning framework (eg PyTorch, TensorFlow)Proficiency in Python and a data query language (eg SQL)Proven track record of writing understandable, maintainable and testable codeFamiliarity with software development practices such as unit testing, code reviews, and version controlExperience or strong interest working with cloud computing (preferably AWS)Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as requiredA Bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning or related fieldBonus PointsAn advanced degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning or related fieldExperience merging and deduplicating large datasetsExperience working on multilingual problemsExperience developing search or candidate ranking systems using term-based (eg ElasticSearch) or vector-based (eg Faiss) solutionsExperience building internal review/labeling tools using Streamlit or equivalentProficiency in Spark using PySpark or ScalaNielsen: Enabling your best to power a better media future.

The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
